Hotel San Michele is located into a large green park, this is the most green and panoramic area of the Island from where You will see Amalfi, The Sorrento's Peninsula and all the Neapolitan Gulf with the Vesuvius.Closer to the Hotel at few walking yards there are the Axel Munthe Villa, and the Seggiovia to the highest Hill of the island the Monte Solaro.Hotel was builted in 1870 in neoclassic style and opened in 1904 under the name of Hotel Molaro. After few years it become the hause of Artists,Doctors and kings of the Historical period.All the hotel is furnished of historical furniture used from the Kaiser, The Swedish Queen and the famous Doctor Axel Munthe.
